| We LOVE Restaurant.com! Recently we traveled to San Antonio for 4 days and used 5 gift certificates. Of course, you must keep up with the restrictions that vary for each restaurant, but that is a small chore compared to the great savings. If you have a family who meets the food minimum with no effort, then the savings can be great. Search in advance for an online promo coupon to use to lower your price for the coupons (as much as 70% off during the last week of 2006). I have found better success finding restaurants by searching via zip codes rather than cities. We have many local restaurants too and I expect the restaurant list will continue to grow. This is a great way to try new restaurants, especially when you travel and know you'll be eating out anyway. It also says on their website that you can trade in coupons you don't use for other coupons, which is a nice option. I think this is a wonderful concept that is a win-win for the consumer and restaurant. |
