Walmart has definitely upgraded when it comes to their diamonds. Their wedding sets and diamond engagement rings, etc... are vastly better than even just a few years ago and basically can beat any other store when it comes to pricing, just depends on sales, etc... but on the whole I'd like to give them about four stores for better jewelry.

I would like to grade them at five. I just bought my girlfriend, now fiance, a beautiful 3/4 diamond engagement ring and it is gorgeous. My fiance said she couldn't have picked it out better if she'd have done it herself. I looked at other stores before going to Walmart for jewelry, like Kays, Zales, Friedman's, etc... and Walmart is now carrying alot better jewelry for great prices and they come with the GIA, or IGA, whichever it is, certificate, etc... That is the very well known Gemological Institute. They carry Keepsake too. I am so glad I went there. When I told her it came from Walmart I was a bit worried at first, because just a few years ago they didn't have the greatest rep when it came to some diamonds, like Kmart. But she was totally shocked and said "Dang, if I knew they had such great jewelry there now, I'd have shopped there long ago." So, no date set yet, but it was a big "GO" for this guy and a diamond! Ha. Thanks Wally World. We love the ring!
